Rowledge After School Club

by a — last modified 2009-09-15 13:10

Rowledge CE Primary School hosts a thriving and lively After School Club which welcomes all children between the ages of 4 and 11 in full time education.  The club is open between 3:20pm and 6:00 during term time.

The After School Club is a non-profit making organisation that was established in 2000, the club is OFSTED registered with all staff fully trained and CRB checked.

If you need to have your children looked after when school finishes then look no further, the club provides a safe and caring environment in which the children can take part in the many and varied activities on offer.

Each day there are time-tabled activities or the children are free to choose activities of their own from the large selection of equipment that the club has developed. Activities include Arts and Crafts, dressing up, games, model making, reading, table tennis, face painting, on Fridays we usually do cooking and outdoor activities are always popular (weather permitting).

The main emphasis is that the children are safe, happy and having fun, the older children may even choose to do their homework at the Club if they wish. For photos of the club and some of the activities please click here.

The After School Club is run by Lesley Warburton, assisted by Liz Selwood and Julie Benstead.

Full & Half (until 4:30pm) sessions are available, costing £10.50 and £7.50 respectively, a light snack is provided at about 4:00pm.

For more details please see the Terms and Conditions or contact the school office (alternatively ring 0796 381 7220 during club hours).   If you would like to see what we do please drop in to the school hall, you would be most welcome.

BREAKFAST CLUB

Having consulted with our parents it was felt that there was not enough demand for a before school Breakfast Club. However, this link will take you to Hampshire County Councils childcare website page which will help you select a registered before school care provider:       http://www.hants.gov.uk/childcare/      . We hope this is useful.
