Rowledge C of E (Controlled) Primary School
Achievement For All
Rowledge C.E. Primary School is a one-form entry school, situated on the Surrey / Hampshire border which places high priority on spiritual, moral, social and cultural education. We teach children from 4-11 years old, offering a continuous, all-through primary education.
Our last OFSTED report in November 2006 judged us to be a "good school" (Ofsted grading) in which pupils make good progress. It also noted that "pupils reach above average standards and achieve well". Our pupils were praised for the great enthusiasm they show for their school. In March 2011 Hampshire LA reported that "the overall effectiveness of the school is outstanding". We were praised for three areas in particular: (i) pupil's attainment across the school, (ii) our creative and innovative curriculum, and (iii) pupil independence and involvement in their learning.
The school may be viewed by appointment - please telephone the school office. As of January 2012 we are full, with no spaces in any of our classes. However, spaces do come up from time to time, so if we have no space in the class you require then ask to be put on our waiting list. A prospectus and more details on spaces are available from the office. There is also a link to our prospectus from this home page. Further information is displayed and regularly updated on this website.
We hope you enjoy the slideshow below. It currently features photos of our KS1 Beach Trip in July 2011. If you want to see more photos of the school in action, click here.
